Most known czech F-Easter's manufacturer was METALEX, who produced cars called MTX. Many of these cars were used in hillclimb races too. MTX was essentially only one available car for czech racers... All cars were powered by engines by capaity 1107 ccm to 1294 ccm made by russian Volzskij avtomobilnyj zavod (VAZ, manufacturer of "Lada" a.k.a. Zhiguli, placed in Togliatti, USSR). Except type 1-01, who was powered by Skoda (Automobilove zavody n.p., Mlada Boleslav, Czechoslovakia).

Dear friend, thanks for this excellent post. Please try to avoid political comments. Furthermore I'm not sure many more monoseats cars have been produced in Central Europe since communists have gone, so whatever their crimes, they are really not relevant here Smile

I have 2 questions, if you know...

1) What tyres did they use? any Eastern brand, or imported?

2) It seems many of your pictures are from modern re enactement. Is there a revival scene in Central Europe with vintage car racing?
