This thread is a very good idea. Some people asked what they could do to participate. There are so many chassis in F1 History that would deserve such a clever treatment of pictures already available.

I think that the Iso-Marlboro>Williams chassis numbers are being confused in this topic...

From 'in period' magazines it should be.....

Iso-Marlboro IR-01 > Never had a Williams chassis number
Iso-Marlboro IR-02 > Williams FW02
Iso-Marlboro IR-03 > Williams FW01
Iso-Marlboro IR-04 > Williams FW03
Williams FW04 was the first real Williams chassis.

That is an interesting point Rob. Early Williams chassis history is a bit puzzling. I always trusted Allen Brown's Oldracingcars.com site so far.

Thank you for your support. I'll continue with other models.  Very Happy

Rob, about Williams chassis numbers, there may be confusion but my reference is also Oldracingcars.com. It is this that I use on the tables above.
Other references can be filled in period magazines or books but I have to make a choice ... and Oldracingcars.com seems to me very comprehensive about it.
