Re: Formula 2 from 1971
Very interesting story these Latino-American F2 races in 1970s!
As I see there was a mixture of European and Latino pilots there.
Had to be a good burgain for european drivers, it includes also famous F1 names. I think it was personal initiave of the family Fittipaldi, wasn't it?

Dear friends,
for the next 15 days, I can"t access to photobucket and several other image hosting sites. I cant neither use the proxy I know to overpass this censorship.
Please try to do without me for this time, and probably the following week, which I should use to downlad all the material you will send meanwhile.
Take care

In the post covering the Gran Premio di Roma in Vallelunga, you present this picture of the Lotus 69 driven by Emerson Fittipaldi.
This is almost right : it is Emerson Fittipaldi on his Lotus 69 in Vallelunga, but it is during the Gran Premio Madunina on October 17 (race number 2). The car is fitted with the first version of the "wide nose" which will be also in use afterwards during the Brasil torneio and then modified to include twin flaps before the nose, as used also in 1972.
